In addition, there is a risk of higher blood pressure, because the heart has to do more work, blood clots and an increasing risk of cardiovascular disease.

What kind of footwear to wear?

Occasionally walking in high heels has no major consequences for the body, but it should not be the standard footwear. Well-fitting running shoes promote good running motion. It also applies that the ankle should not be locked up, because it also prevents the natural walking movement.
