Olive oil is available in different colors and variations. They range from light to dark green. This has to do with the type of olive oil and the number of pressings. Although some producers use a substance that makes the oil darker and therefore appears healthier.

Extra Virgin

Extra virgin olive oil is the first pressing of the olives and is therefore often the most expensive version. The taste is also somewhat stronger than that of the virgin. The olive oil you buy in the stores has an expiration date. Olive oil can be stored for quite a long time and is best kept in a cupboard, for example in your kitchen. Olive oil should never be left in sunlight, as this deteriorates its quality.
