Treating rheumatoid arthritis RA with nutrition and diet

Rheumatoid arthritis or RA is a chronic condition that affects not only the fingers, wrist, hips, knees and feet, but also the muscles and tendons. The disease mainly occurs in women during menopause. Yet you can easily prevent and treat rheumatoid arthritis or RA with nutrition and an adapted diet. Try it for a few weeks and notice the results for yourself.

Symptoms

Rheumatoid arthritis or RA is almost always accompanied by local swelling and can lead to deformities over time. All joints can be affected, but the smaller joints of the hands and feet are particularly affected. The condition can spread further to the bones that connect to the joint. The disease mainly occurs in menopausal women. It is estimated that approximately 1% of the population suffers from rheumatoid arthritis or RA.

Causes

Rheumatoid arthritis or RA is associated with a disease of the immune system in which the body attacks its own tissue and causes inflammation in the joints. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty about the precise causes. Rheumatoid artiritis or RA can have numerous possible causes: hormonal imbalances, physical and emotional stress, inflammation, anxiety, shock, and injuries. RA patients usually also have anemia, iron deficiency and an increased blood erythrocyte sedimentation rate.

Treating rheumatoid arthritis with nutrition and diet

Calcium

Research has shown that calcium can relieve joint pain due to rheumatoid arthritis. In some patients the pain even disappeared completely. Take two teaspoons of calcium lactate (about 800mg) in a little water three times a day before each meal. Do this for at least four months.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar works wonders for rheumatoid arthritis or RA. Drink one glass of water every day on an empty stomach in which you have dissolved a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of honey. Also eat vinaigrettes and mayonnaise that you have made with apple cider vinegar instead of regular vinegar more often.

Garlic

Garlic should definitely not be missing from your diet if you want to treat rheumatoid arthritis or RA naturally. That’s because garlic contains anti-inflammatory properties. Garlic can be eaten raw or warm.

Bananas

Bananas are rich in vitamin B6, a vitamin shown to be efficient in treating rheumatoid arthritis or RA. Jet has to tackle the banana diet in a very intensive way: eat only bananas for three to four days. Don’t hesitate to eat eight to nine bananas a day.

Limes

Limes can easily be incorporated into almost any diet and are very effective in treating rheumatoid arthritis. The acids in limes dissolve uric acid, which is the basis of some forms of rheumatoid arthritis. Mix the juice of one lime with a glass of water and drink it once a day, preferably on an empty stomach.

Sesame seeds

Soak one teaspoon of black sesame seeds in a little water overnight. Eat the seeds in the morning for breakfast and also drink the water in which the seeds have been soaked.
